Course Commencement: May 2024
This course is an approved Safety Auditor Training Scheme accredited by the Labour Department of the HKSAR Government.
According to the Factories & Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (Chapter 59), industrial organizations with employees exceed 50 shall conduct formal safety audit and/or safety review at every 6-month intervals. Construction and logistics industries including container handling, shipyard and etc. are also governed under the Ordinance.
Course Content:
Part 1: Safety Management
Part 2: Safety Auditing
Part 3: Project
Entry Requirements:
- Registered Safety Officers; or
- Holders of safety officer certificates or diplomas; or
- Degree holders in relevant subjects or equivalents subject to the Course Director’s Approval.
Language:
- English with Chinese supplementary.
Assessments:
- By exam and assignments.
Requirement of Award
- Learners are required to attend at least 75% of the lectures and pass the assessments as required
Tuition Fees : HK$14,000 (5% special discount to member of HKISP / UWOHSME)
Special Arrangement:
Students may answer their assessments in either English or Chinese
